Mrs. William Lawton Died at Home of Daughter
Mrs. Anna Hitchcock Lawton died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Foster Manning on Sunday after an illness of two years. She had been with her daughter for the past week.
Mrs. Lawton was born on March 10, 1888, at Bellrun and had spent most of her lifetime in that area. She was married on July 4, 1903 to William Lawton at Olean.
She is survived by her husband and the following Children: Mrs. Foster Manning of Wellsville, Mrs. Bernita Wilcox of Brookland, Md., Mrs. Vinnie Slater of Lucinda, Pa., Raymond Lawton of Bolivar and Derwood Lawton of Shinglehouse; also several grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon a two o'clock at the Morton Funeral Home with Rev. Donald P. Moody officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery
