Burd Lawton Rites on Friday
James Burd Lawton of Shinglehouse succumbed to a lengthy illness on Tuesday, June 21, 1960 at the Blossburg Hospital.
Born on September 11, 1886, at Oswayo. Mr. Lawton was united in marriage on October 23, 1907 to Miss Chloe Belle Lawton, who survives.
Beside his widow, Mr. Lawton is survived by ine son, Olon B. Lawton of Clarence Center, N.Y., two grandchildren and several neices and nephews.
Frieds may call at the Howard Funeral Home where services will be conductd on Friday afternoon, June 24, 1960, at two o'clock. Rev Harold west, pastor of the EUB Church at Millport, will officiate. Interment will be made in the family plot in Maple Grove Cemetery
