Obituary
Marion A. Easton, 70, of Shinglehouse, PA, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, after a long illness.
Born October 22, 1942 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Leonard I. and Louise E. Bailey Easton.
Marion was employed at the Olean General Hospital, Olean, for many years in housekeeping and later in the Admissions department until her retirement.
She loved her horses.
Surviving are two sisters, Florence O. (James) Givan of Eldred and Audrey L. (James) Schultz of Shinglehouse; a brother, Melvin I. (Sue) Easton of Kane; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by a son, Dennis Alvatrona; four sisters; and four brothers.
At Marion’s request there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Teacher’s Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
