Edwin M. Kemp Dies After Long Illness
Whole Long Life Spent at Eleven Mile - Widow and Nine Children Survive.
Edwin M. Kemp died Friday afternoon, March 16. 1945, at his home on the Eleven Mile, after a long Illness. He was born at Eleven Mile September 20. 1866, and resided there all his life.
Surviving besides his widow are six sons and three daughters; Archie Kemp, Mrs. George Mallory and Mrs. Gerald Fiske of Olean: Mrs. Charles Wlxlson of Campbell, N. Y.; Reva Kemp, of the Wildcat; Alfred - and Ralph Kemp, Eleven Mile, and Roy and Roland Kemp, Shinglehouse. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren
Funeral services were held Monday, March 19, with prayer service
at the Morton Funeral Home at 1:15, and further service at the Crystal United Brethren Church
at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. B. V. Berry officiated. Interment was in the Crystal Cemetery.
