WELLSVILLE, N.Y. - Luella Kemp, 81, of 45 E. Fassett St. died Tuesday in her home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1915, in Austin, Pa., a daughter of Guy and Lillian Peterson Nolan. She married Roland E. Kemp, who died Jan. 29, 1992.
A former employee of the Texas Hot Restaurant in Wellsville, Mrs. Kemp was a member of the Senior Citizens of Wellsville and a former member of its band. She was also a member of the Riverside Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are two sons. Roland Kemp of Lakewood and Randy Kemp of Wellsville; two daughters, Donna Swarthout of Wellsville and Sue Waydelis of Hamlin; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Nolan of Wellsville; three sisters, Peggy Summerfield of Randolph and Ginny Hamilton and Jenny Gleason, both of Inverness, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald E. Kemp, a brother and a sister.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m, today and at the Riverside Assembly of God Church on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m, at which time funeral services will be conducted by
the Rev. Fred Francisco, pastor.
Burial will be in Crystal Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc.
