GOOD WOMAN GONE

Mrs. Jennie Hosmer of Qswayo is dead
Oswayo, Pa., Jan 11.


Mrs. Jennie Hosmer died Saturday night, January 8th at the home of her mother, Mrs. Arthur Cook. She had been a sufferer with the most hopeless of diseases consumption, for several months.

All that kind and loving hands could do was done to relieve her sufferings, but all to no avail. She went home to the one who said "Come unto me, all ye that are weary and heavy-laden and I will give thee rest."

She was 34 years of age and had nearly lived all of her life here at the Eleven Mile.

She leaves three children to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother; Clarence, age 16; Leonard, age 10 and Margaret, age 6 years; besides a mother , one brother, Chet Cook and one sister, Nettie, all of whom reside at home. Death having claimed the father of Mrs. Hosmer of the same dreadful disease just 10 months ago. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Charles Tyler, who resides at this place. Besides a large host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at two o'clock from the U. B. Church, of which she was a member. Rev Weaver officiating and G. H. Grabe and Son, funeral directors. She will be laid at rest at the Eleven Mile Cemetery at Chrystal.

A precious one from us has gone;
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.

God in his wisdom has recalled,
The bloom his life has given.
And the body moulders here,
The soul is safe in Heaven.
