David P. 'Dingy' Mesler beloved father, son and brother
SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. -- David P. 'Dingy' Mesler, 36 of Shinglehouse, died Sunday (May 20, 2007) in Shinglehouse. Born Jan. 30, 1971 in Coudersport, he was a son of Samuel and Wilma E. Jordan Mesler. He was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School in Shinglehouse. He was formerly employed at RAM Forest Products in Shinglehouse and later was employed by Olean Bottling Works in Olean, N.Y. At the time of his death, he was a self-employed logger. Mr. Mesler loved to hunt and fish. He loved spending time with his family, most especially his children. Surviving are his parents of Shinglehouse, three children, Kali M. Gross, Christopher C. Mesler, and McKenzie L. Gross, all of Shinglehouse; two brothers, Gordon E. (Betsy) Mesler and Samuel F. "Smiley" Mesler Jr. both of Shinglehouse; three sisters, Joann M. (Michael) Cadwell of Oswayo; Judy A (Bill) Pratt of Shinglehouse and Janet E. (Rick) Hauser of Torrey, Texas; his former girlfriend , Joni L. Gross of Shinglehouse; nine nieces and nephews; two grandnieces; and several aunts and uncles. Mr. Mesler was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents. There will be no public visitation. A private memorial service for the family will be held in the East Sharon Cemetery, Shinglehouse. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shinglehouse Volunteer Ambulance Association, P.O.
