JAMES W. WOOD

MACON, Ga. - James W. Wood, 51, of 3433 Walker St., formerly of Shinglehouse, Pa., died Thursday (July 21, 1977).
Born in Perry Okla., he had lived in Macon for 14 yeas. He attended school in Oswayo, Pa.
Mr. Wood was a retired carpenter and was a U.S.Navy veteran of WWII.
He was a member of the Methodist church; the VFW; and the Moose Club in Warner Robins.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dot Wood; two sons, James E Wood of Oxnard, Calif. and Ricky Wood of Perry; two daughters, Mrs. Vivki L. Hatcher of Ft. Benning and Mrs. Sandra K. Cannon of Macon; seven grandchildren; and a brother, William A. Wood Jr. of Allegany, NY.
Graveside services were held in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with full military honors on Saturday (July 23, 1977)
