CLARENCE HOSMER
ELDRED, Pa. - Clarence
Leroy Hosmer, 83, of RD 2, died
Thursday (Jan. 7, 1982) in the
Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, following a
lengthy illness.
Born July 24, 1898 in Oswayo,
he was a son of Charles and
Jennie Cook Hosmer. On May
12, 1952 in Port Allegany, he
married the former Blanche
Stives, who survives.
Mr. Hosmer had attended Oswayo schools and had been employed in the local oil fields as a pumper for the Messer Oil
Company, Bradford and the
Lawrence Oil Company of
Eldred, until his retirement in
1964.
Surviving besides his widow,
are a sister, Mrs. Marguerite
Shaner of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the
Frame Funeral Home, Eldred,
today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
where funeral and committal
services will be held Sunday
(Jan. 10, 1982) at 2 p.m. The
Rev. Glenn Hamilton, pastor of
the Duke Center Free Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial
will be in Crystal Cemetery,
Millport.
Memorials made to the
Eldred Ambulance Fund, will
be appreciated by the family.
