CUBA Clyde O. Greene of 23 Champlain Ave .. Cuba, died Friday (Aug. 1, 2003) In Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in Buffalo after a lengthy Illness
Born in Richburg, on June 14, 1926. he was a son of Charles DD. and Hazel Bump Green. On April 3, 1965, in Alma. he martied Gardenia 'Polly' Wixson who survives.
He was a graduate of the Wellsville High School, Wellsville.He had been employed in the area oil fields and logging industry by Bradley Producing Co., Otis Eastern Corp . Joyce Pipeline of Andover and also by various dairies. includillg Medow Brook dairy, from which he retired in 1991.
Mr. Greenewas a member of the Hornell Moose Lodge and a social member of Cuba Post No. 2721 VFW.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Roger J. 'RJ' Greene of Cuba and Alan W. (Robln) Greene of Georgetown, Texas; one daughter, Sue Ellen
(Craig) Barry of Fort Knox. KY.; one stepdaughter, Lori A. (Douglas) Jewell of Smethport, Pa.; nine grandchildren; one brother, Wade Greene of Wellsville; several nieces, nephew, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, David. C. Greene; two brothers Arnold Greene and Clifford Greene; and three sisters, Mildred Whitehall, Marion Mattison and Della Greene.
Friend. were received by the family at the McIntosh Funeral Home. 24 Genesee Parkway, Cuba, on Mondav (Aug. 4, 2003) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services were held on Tuesday. (Aug. 5.2003) at 11 a.m. The Rev. Larry A. Poelma of First Baptist Church of Cuba officiated.
Burial will be in the East Sharon Cemetery, Sharon Township, Pa.
