LaVerna Krisher
SHINGLEHOUSE. - LaVerna E.
Krisher, 62, formerly of 351 Main St.,
Bolivar, N.Y., died Wednesday (Jan.
16, 2002) at the Wellsville Manor
Nursing Homer in Wellsville, 'N.Y., after
a long illness.
Born Sept. 17, 1939, in Shinglehouse,
~e was a daughter of LaVerne Allen and
Vera I. Lawton Lowe Sr.
She attended Shinglehouse High
School and was a graduate of Bolivar
High School.
Surviving are seven sons,
Christopher M. Krisher and Michael
Krisher, both of Bolivar, Jesse E.
Krisher of Shinglehouse, Robin P.
Krisher of Houston, Texas, Timothy L.
Krisher of Romulus, N.Y., Raymond F.
Krisher of Olean, N.Y., and Dana, who
was. adopted at birth; two daughters,
DeeDee Bova of Duke Center and
O'Della L. Krisher of Caneadea, N.Y.;
13 grandchildren; five sisters, Lois M.
Prentice of Bolivar, Clara B. Lowe of
New Philadelphia, Ohio, Rosalie Siller.
and Frankie A. Stonemetz, both of
Shinglehouse, and Ramona J. Weiss of
Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, LaVerne A.
Lowe Jr. of. Bolivar and Harold A.
Lowe of Shinglehouse; and many
nieces and nephews.
She was' preceded in death by her
parents.
There will be no visitation. A memorial
graveside service and burial will be
held in the Maple Grove Cemetery in
Shinglehouse at a date and time to be
announced.
Arrangements are under the direction
of the VIrgil L. Howard Funeral Home.
