Mildred Bryant
Mildred J. Bryant, 80, of Shinglehouse died Wednesday (June 26, 1996) at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, following a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 20, 1915, in Sartwell Creek, a daughter of Joseph and Ruth Jandrew Miller. She married William J. Bryant, who survives.
Mrs. Bryant was a graduate of Roulette High School. She was an avid bingo player.
Surviving in addition to her husband are on daughter, Rachelann 'Cookie' Amidon of Shinglehouse; two sons, Richard W. Bryant and Carle E. 'Abe' Bryant, both of Shinglehouse; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph Miller of Shinglehouse, Gordon Miller in Ohio and Frederick 'Sonny' Miller in California; three sisters, Marion McDermott in California and Edna Reynolds and Onalie Jones, both of Shinglehouse.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services we held Friday (June 20, 1996) at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, with Rev. M.H. Vincent of Shinglehouse officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
